The Rider on his 1000cc Bike was caught off guard and was not ready for the sudden change in terrain! The front of the bike started to come off the road and one would imagine the bike started to swerve around that time. With this being said the rider (who was geared) either was thrown from the bike or decided it was smarter to remove himself from the bike at that point. So with the rider sliding into the grassy ditch, to were from what we hear some minor scuffs, the bike proceeded to flip a few times in the main lanes to come to a sliding halt. Finally resting in the left lane or opposing lane that if any traffic would have been coming. At this point some of the ASI groupies assisted this fallen rider and picked the bike up, since the front rotor was locked up and the rear wheel was bent and sat it up in the parking lot for retrieval. At a later time a Dark full size truck came to retrieve the bike. Two hispanic males exited the vehicle and with assitance of others(myself included) placed the bike in the truck, Taking time to strap it in properly and inform this reporter that the rider was shaken up but in good shape. Also note they state the bike will be rebuilt.
Yea, that's pretty much the whole story. Only thing you probably didn't see is the guy hit the dip while doing a wheelie. After the dip, he 12o'clocked it. As soon as he did, he let go off the handlebars before the bike proceeded to flip end over end (didn't even scratch the sliders) and he slid down the road like it was made out of ice. Glad the guy is ok.

12 o'clock is a good thing when you have a wheelie bar on the back but when you don't and you get scared when the back of your bike touches the ground and let go of your bike, it's BAD

But I guess I'll just call it going completely vertical. Either way, this is the end result
