He is fine. I checked him out at the scene since I was combat life saver qualified in the US Army. His bike is gone though.

He is home now.

They harleys were saying they were ran off the road on 244 at the end of 3090...

Um there were about 6 dozen of them Harleys, w a police motorcade.... how did a couple sportbikes accomplish this?

It's curious that none of the riders in the group saw the bikes get "run off the road". A couple of people from our group said the two harleys were riding two abreast and crashed into each other.

1FC and I passed a few of them until we realized that there were about a bazillion harleys. Then I just slipped in line. 1FC was ahead, I assume he did the same. There were no down bikes in our vicinity.

How two bikes could come together riding that slowly escapes me.

Inherent rivalry and flared tempers. They had all of 3090 backed up including cars. A couple of riders were trying to pass and the harley's would edge into oncoming traffic lanes to keep them from passing.Sounds to me like one of the harleys was too busy watching the road trying NOT to let the sport bikes pass. The two harley's clipped each other and wrecked. We saw a huge cloud of smoke, 2 wrecked harleys and 2 of their people down. We parked and they immediately started blaming us.

What he said! Right behind them also....They were riding side by side....not staggered. They were really mad at us...even though we ere behind them and didn't cause anything. The road was 100% straight where it happened.

I never like to see a rider down, whatever they ride, but was not any sportbikers fault and they were looking for somebody to blame!

However, I will not be going to yankee's anytime soon!!! We got some pretty bad looks as we were leaving there... The rivalry begins again. Its a shame!

I guess there was a some "talk" about the "sportbikes" at Yankee's. There was def potential 4 drama but luckily nothin developed. Ride was awesome though. Beautiful day and great ppl. Nice meeting the new faces.

That is a shame....I like cruisers but would never ride a Harley just for that reason.

I would never blame anyone if (I) was being a dumbass, where do they get off. Anywayz I enjoyed the ride, glad our dude is okay even though his bike is bent.

Ah, come on now Herf. We had a great ride. The 3090 segment was slow and congested, but the rest was great. Except for the part where I led a couple of folks in the wrong direction....

The weather was outstanding and we had a great turnout.
