How will the dual clutch automatic work?

I like the way these bikes look- very new design.

The dual clutch version has two modes. Fully automatic and tap to shift. I personally would rather do all shifting myself and not take on the extra 20+ lbs the dual clutch adds to the weight.

I think it is sexy as . I was trying to hold out for this but just could not wait any longer and got the FZ1. It was a close call between the FZ1 and the VFR800 at the time.

I am disappointed that the bike is not more "sporty" for the zx14/busa arena. It is in dead-on competition with the Concours/ST/BMW. I hope Honda brings out a real slugger (Blackbird) soon. They knocked everyone's teeth out with the 1000rr in 08 so we know what the mighty "H" is capable of.

I like it, and for the type of ridding that I do, I would like the automatic.

Something tells me this thing is gonna run circles around the previous models.
We'll have to wait and see though.

Honda is stating 177hp. If it is at the wheel that would be awesome. In realistic Honda conservative fashion, that is crank hp which will compute to 150 rwhp at max.

It's not trying to compete with either mentioned models ed. Did someone pee in your cheerios today bc you seem more pissy than your usual grumpy self.

Geeez... looks like Ed is already well absorbed into that "Busa Busa Busa" zone! I mean, the guy owned a VFR for how many years? He must've loved that bike to keep it for so long. Then one day he gets this Busa and

Maybe I should get this new VFR, with all it's new technology, so that when I go riding with him, maybe he'll be like .... "Hmmm... maybe I should have gotten that, instead?"

the new VFR is nothing like my old VFR

IMO

'98-02' we're the best of "current" day VFRs

the new one is aimed squarly at touring vs sport-touring. new tech. always doesn't make a better bike.......ala V-tec.
