Why did he crash? Looks like he never stopped banking - didn't really look like loss of traction. Either way -- Tennys for the gym -- Sidis for m/c's.

lost traction...dunno 'why'

Look at approx 13-15seconds.. b4 he's down look at where the front tire is turning vs direction of travel and how the bike is lined up.
Dirt, gravel or something else on the road or tire?



...but hey at least his shoe didn't go over the cliff/slope edge. :-)

I agree - I don't think it was gravel etc - the more I watch it I think he turned the bars the wrong way (to the left) instead of gentle countersteering. He was crawling around the corner!

Seems like he turned the bars toward the turn rather than countersteering. Oh well

interesting. I watched it several times and although I know it would be difficult to tell from the video if he hit gravel/oil/etc - the road surface *looks* pretty good.

I agree with the failure to countersteer. Just as he's about to go down his wheel is definitely cocked in the wrong direction.
