I will be first in line Saturday. Got to tune out a bog with my lockup. Without the lockup I was 60 footing 1.47 and now it is stuck at 1.50 flat.

I probably won't attempt this weekend since the weather is so sketchy but I will DEFINETLY make it out there pretty soon on a saturday. Man you got that 14 flying.....1.47 60's are getting it done.

BTW, do you know a guy named Greg that lives in Lumberton, he used to ride a red/grey 2000 Hayabusa with a 1397 in it....He worked at one of the plants over there, prolly mid 40s... I have a good buddy in Nederland and many years ago we went to Lumberton to do some street racing and I met that Greg guy then....he was pretty cool....Also met a fella named Randy with a silver busa...I can't remember if he was from Lumberton or not though. We were racing on a road in a wooded area that runs right in front of a car speed shop....we were doing 2nd gear rolls/top ends....it was pretty scary out there...LOL

Greg is a good friend of mine. He sold the Busa a while back and has a ZRX1200 now. Randy was a helluva drag racer too. Gave it up cold turkey. I bet that Nederland guy is ol' Chris T. He was at Evadale last month with a jockey trying to get his busa lined out.

Yep, thats Chris.... Me and him been buds about 10 yrs.....I take trips to Nederland about once a year to ride with him and his cronies..... We went to Randy's house when he had the R1 and a silver 60" busa.....it was flying for what it was....Randy had a HOT old lady to.... I would have never left the house if I was married to her... He was a cool guy and an awesome rider.

Chris has always gotten Ryan to ride his bikes....Did you ever see his ZX11 with the Superbike Mike motor in it? That was a bad ole too... There was another fella that used to run around with Chris and them with a busa like mine(colors), I think his name was Josh....I sold him a pipe for it and installed it for him years ago...He was a good guy...a tad slow but a good guy...

I think Kelly Christ used to live out east over there somewhere also...I haven't see him in years either. Man back in the day, we had a GOOD group of locals that used to ride/race etc...around 02-03.....those were good times... The Texas Shootout days...

It was Ryan riding for Chris that night. I remember when Chris had a Honda Hurricane with nitrous back in the 80's. Josh was here 2 weeks ago. He still has the same Busa but painted it red and black back in about 03-04. It is a stone reliable 1397. He being 6'8" makes a busa look like a minibike. He and Chris had both bought zrx1200's to tool around on too. You should have been around here in the 80's, when it all began. It was fun times on 2 wheels...or one.

There has never been a rain out...>There has been times when it would rain for an hour or so and then dry up....but never any bad rain in 6 yrs.....

Hopefully, this won't be the first...

I was at Evadale BBM Raceway. The visor falls at 100 ft out when the wind hits it. I filed the ratchets to loosen it.
