Can't wait to see how it runs... mine is getting closer.. got the clutch basket, just waiting on fibers and steels, a good tune, and some leather pants.... probably won't be till next year tho, since I am headed back offshore until Nov and most strips close around Turkey day.

I am so sad I missed the registration for the Texas Mile. I didn't realize it filled up so fast. Have fun at the track! I will probably go to HRP or HMP Friday.

On another note, my buddy Jeff had a Jockey(150lbs) hop on his 63", stg 1 busa with a stock style clutch, no boost controller etc, bike makes about 280hp and went 8.22@180... Jeff is 250lbs suited and went 8.60 something at 170mph.... he gets low 1.40 60's though...

I am sure my first night out will be a flop, but I need to try it out to see what changes I need to make. But don't worry, eventually, its gonna haul ...
I would go with more gear and less boost. Anywhere from 4 to 6 psi if possible. I have watched many bikes make their best passes under 8 psi.

You need to pick up a swingarm to go with that shinko.

I got 6 passes at HMP last week. If I can get more at a track with a halfazz surface I will take it.

Evadale shows to have some kind of actual race it seems every saturday, they also show T&T but....I am wondering how many passes we would actually get? I don't want to drive 2 hrs for 5 passes....

This weekend is not an event weekend. Weekend before last during the pro stock event I got to make 13 passes. If you are there in staging at 3:00 you will get to make a decent amount of runs. There have been times where we waited all day to only make 4 passes.
I will be first in line Saturday. Got to tune out a bog with my lockup. Without the lockup I was 60 footing 1.47 and now it is stuck at 1.50 flat.
