Best ear buds?

for riding with a helmet on?

best as far as price/size(so they dont snag on helmet and come out) and sound....

I bought some cheapies at walmart for 7 bux, the price is right, the size is great but they dont have the sound that some of my other buds have...

Repost solracer!!!

I've used some iPod ear buds, Koss Ear Buds, and Skull Candy.

Skull Candy hands down is my fav. They fit perfect in your helmet and don't fall out. I have 2 sets just in case I break the other one lol. $16.99 at Traget. Plus they have different colors to chose from.

the skull candy's rock for in helmet.

the only thing i hate about them is when I take them out of my ear. they seem to create a vacuum and hurts my inner ear.

Owner Repost.

I can't attest as I don't use much in ear buds, but many people both here and elsewhere love the ER6i's by etymotic. You can find them for about half the regular price on ebay all day long.

FWIW the er6i's have almost nothing sticking out of your ear. Very small exterior casing.

And if you like them, you can get them turned into an iPhone headset.

Skull Candy! They are awesome. I wish I had bought them sooner. They also act like ear plugs cutting wind noise to almost nothing. Because the wind noise is gone you dont have to crank the tunes up. The only down side is not being able to hear someone very well with your lid on even after you turn the music off.

Balanced Armature Drivers, provide the best sound.

Difference btw a $20 set of earbuds and these is astronomical

This is what I use. They are phenomenal. Saves your hearing because you don't need to blast your volume into your ear to get the same volume you would with other brands. Less volume = less ear fatigue = hearing when you're 60. The combination of amazing quality and reduced outside noise levels is hard to beat.

Worth it. They even come with a one year warranty. I used to buy some sony headphones and I'd break them every other month. I haven't purchased a new set or had to have them replaced in 8 months and I use them way more. Honestly, I really enjoy having good sound - so it's worth it to me. When you add in the fact that they double as ear protection it's a no brainer.

Etymotic doesn't make earbuds. The old addage holds true though, get what you pay for.

EDIT: He btw chris you can get the er6i's on ebay new for about $70. Not bad for quality sound.
