My .02 - I have only been riding 2 years. I have put 15,000+ miles on 4 different bikes, some more comfortable than others. I DEFINITELY got bit by the riding bug!

My commute is 42 miles - Against Traffic cuz I work nights.
I don't ride if there is a 40% chance of rain the night I go in or the next morning. I watch the weather news religiously.
I would rather be sweaty and get the BEST parking spot at the med center and NOT be hampered by time clocked gate cards. Change of clothes and DO for BO.

And - Oh Yeah...

VOTE LANE SHARING NOW!!!

But you're awesome cuz you commute, and I don't even deserve to be on a bike. Shouldn't you already be faster than me by shear seat time?

Question: is there any whining thats NOT like a little girl? Like, could I have whined like a rabid wolverine, or perhaps whined like a bodybuilder?

So if I started a new thread stating that motocommuting was hard........you're telling me I wouldn't be told that I was "whining like a little girl?" I fail to believe that.....

I am much more sober when I ride. When I cage it I have a hard time not buying that 24oz beer for the drive home.
