How the F do you people do this all year!? I've done it the last two days (Katy to Greenway Plaza), and it sucks ! I save MAYBE 5 minutes, the ride is boring as , and to top it all off I'm sweaty when I get there. USELESS!

i save hellacious amounts of time, especially if traffic is dense, coming back from work if theres a wreck and traffic stops then having your bike is priceless.

if you're not enjoying the ride its your own fault :P i get withdraws if i dont ride.

Yup. The major slowdown on my commute is 610 from I-10 to 59......there's no HOV for that stint.

To me its completely not worth it. Boring riding is boring riding. Apparently I just don't like bikes all that much that I think resting my elbow on the gas tank for 15 minutes straight is better than the air conditioned comfort of my superduty. I want my truck back!

I don't really have a choice at the moment, my truck is at the dealer. You can bet your I'll quit this as soon as possible. I just don't understand how going 65mph in a straight line for a half hour can be percieved, in any way, as "fun."

The 59 feeder? Isn't that, like 15 minutes in the wrong direction?

Lets see...no wierd muscle/joint pains from humping a football for 30 minutes

Satellite radio

Air conditioning so I don't show up to work sweaty

Not having to worry about every vehicle trying to kill me because they're not paying attention

Automatic transmission.

No.......its really NOT more fun than driving for 45 minutes.

Other way round. I come in on I-10, take 610S to 59, and 59N about 2 miles to the edloe/buffalo speedway exit.

How am I boring? A commute is boring......any commute. How is the same cruise-controlled drive/ride any less or more boring depending on the mode of transportation. There's nothing additional I'm able to do without putting myself at risk for bodily harm on a motorcycle. I'm pretty much stuck going the same speed as the guy in front of me....

lot less gas or fuel and better for the enviroment on the bike. The bike saves me lots of time on the hov from the north. I'm not hardcore. i do not ride if its raining when i leave to go to work or if its a high chance of rain like around 60% and up. The Houston drivers drive like idiots and it makes it worse when it rains.

right so nothing makes a commuter more exciting then dealing w/ traffic......is your glass half empty or full

I-10 HOV dumps you right there at 610S, stay on the feeder....and zig zag around the galleria.

I ride everyday in almost ANY weather. Its who I am and I wouldnt trade it for the world. Sorry riding isnt fun for you unless its somewhere other then where your at. For others, like said before, it doesnt matter where were at or when were doing it. "Live to ride"
