Riding in Arkansas. Need Suggestions

OK, so I am heading out on moto trip and am going through Arkansas and have heard there are some great roads/scenic routes in that state. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

I'm riding up to Michigan and back and want to hit some of NW Arkansas.
Starting point is Houston and heading through Little Rock. So anything in the LR area (NW/N/NE) that will still keep me heading north.

Take route 7 north it's an amazing road, and tou don't have to take as many FWs.

Do you have to go through Little Rock?

Hit the pig trail. Any road close to Jasper is great. Heading to Eureka Springs for Halloween, annual trip....can't wait

I'm not sure how much time you want to spend on the back roads, but taking AR-23 north from I-40 (Ozark) through Eureka Springs and on up into southern Missouri would get you a pretty good taste of what riding in Arkansas has to offer, while still heading in the correct general direction.

you guys! I have been pouring over Google Maps and these roads look awesome! Too much to cover on this trip so I am definitely going to hit some on the way back and looks like future trips as well.

AR-23 thru the pig trail to Eureka looks amazing. Unfortunately some time constraints have to be met so looks like I will go from Houston to Hot Springs and then take 7 north up to Springfield MO and then slab it to St Louis and stay at my brothers house before moving on to Michigan.

Looks like I'm going to have to get a video camera to get some footage to add to the DSLR I'm taking. Thanks so much for the suggestions. I am really pumped about heading out next week!

This site really lays out the riding roads in Arkansas and other states. Good Stuff: http://www.motorcycleroads.us/states/ar.html

Well, if you head up 7, consider taking a quick diversion on to one of the sweetest roads in AR.

When you get to Lurton, take 123 up to Mt Judea and turn around or continue on to 374 and back to 7. It would be worth it!

that road looks really tempting..... it will definitely get some serious consideration. I just have to start out that day a little earlier to make up for time.
