Oh wow. But I find myself laughing. Is that mean? Ha ha ha ha. Hopefully the ground was wet enough that the damage was minimal. He was going pretty slow when it finally dumped.

And, 167 on the straight? What was that KPH?

Yeah it was in Kilometers not MPH. My take is he's was trying too hard and the down shift was his down fall. He ended up riding the rest of the day once it dried up and did better. Gotta crawl before you walk.... especially in the rain.

Sucks, but at least it was just a really slow drop. Better than doing it in a parking lot.

He needs to get that thing in the higher rpms lol

He was doing good before that last turn. I guess he panicked at the end from the tires sliding.

No...hes realizes what happened after I explained it to him....

He's anxious to get back out there and try it again. next time he will work on being smooth instead of trying to go fast w/o having the yet attained the proper skill set.

Everyone, feel free to comment on his video as the more info the better. We've been talking about it on FB this morning.

+1 on false neutral

knowing what to do in that situation I feel comes with seat time (grab clutch and bang that bish back in gear - might still be able to stay on track), at least before you run off to give you more steering stability

maybe pump the front brakes instead of trying to grab them although it's hard to tell what kind of brake input he was giving it

learn how to blip throttle when downshifting to prevent false neutral

definitely need a ball check as they were obviously big enough to still go out on a first TD in the wet vs brains to be smooth as you said

glad he's alright...Track FTW
