Its dangerous and we all know it, life goes on and I cant dwell on what ifs. @ first I did and it just doesnt help....thnx for the post..
you slid 70 ft and you were going 15mph?

which side of "your" lane were you in? what could you have done to prevent next time?

if you don't learn and change things when in an accident, it's going to happen again?

I was curious on the logistics on this as well? Seems like you would have slide a max of ~10-15 feet? Gnarly 15mph crash .

Either way, glad to see you were able to "walk away" maybe not literally, but you know what I mean. Heal up

hey all...those who were curious about the crash and how i slid so far...i said 70ft, and thats give or take some..i was going about 15mph when i was headed up the lane, BUT i gassed it when i went to swerve into the oncoming traffic lane on my left since it was wide open so i prob hit going more like 25+ but when my slider caught my leg i really flung off the bike fast...i dunno, all i know is i went farther than any of us would want to and it wasnt cool at all....dealing with insurance right now, so far it looks like is going in my favor since I had control of the lane and had the right of way. Drivers who enter a roadway, with help from others or not have the responsibility to make sure its clear....keep yer fingers crossed for me..
