Soo...

So yes it was me. I just heard about this thread from a friend. The bike is an 09 R1. yes yes, stupid mistake. Everything about that article is true except for the club/ gang thing. Who joins gangs and clubs ? Although when asked why by the officers I did say " Because I though I could get away ". Tried to hide after I figured they had 71 mostly covered and there are few side roads plus I didn't know where they lead. The bike it self was topped out towards the last part of the chase. Speedometer reading between 180 in the curves and 190 in the straights. (factor your 10-15% off from factory) I counted 20 ish cops (mostly dps ) before trying to hide.. I still don't know how they knew where I was. ( There was a 3 to 5 min gap before they showed up ) estimate cost with lawyers and all that is around 3K +. So the lesson learned is a super fast bike doesn't account for the super mass amount of cops working for the counties.

Well can't say I feel sorry for you, just that you're lucky to still be alive at those speeds. And also that no officer was injured due to your stunt. You'd be held accountable if a trooper was to lose control of his vehicle while pursuing you. But it comes down to the old saying "You may be able to out run the cop, but you can't out run the radio"

$3k compared to $500 traffic fine

That's a given. I hope you learned a more valuable lesson than just that.

Ok

Everything I said the cops know. No new news, they have that statement on tape. Thank you to the loving words mr/ mrs Street Ninja. I could really use a lawyer if anyone has any numbers. I tried John Duong but haven't had any luck. Yes the ticket would have been much more preferable than what I have to face now. Sucks it took this much for me to learn my lesson. Hey maybe others will see this and think twice before trying to run. Something good can always come out from the worst of things. But honestly, I've learned my lesson, the law always wins. I do regret my decision to run. Won't happen again. All I can do now is hope for the best.

Well what lesson is that?

Second chances do happen?
Its more than just one life?
Family is first?
Think of others before you act?
actions have consequences?
Speed doesn't mean liberty?
The law is the law?

The list can go on.

Do I get tickets, yup but I stop.

Now the reason for this rant, my wife and both my kids had the doors blown off the car on last Wed night. I was out of town hunting, she and the kids went out for a drive, near 45 & BW8. 5 bikes from what my wife could count 130+mph. They were so close to the car, and loud, that my 3 y/o wont even go back out in the shop b/c the mc scares her now. Thanks. Just to say if you fucts would have hurt my family, I would have hunted you down next.

So I'm responsible for the actions of those bikers? It's my fault people decide to meet and speed on public streets. All I want to say is if you have a problem with those riders then you should go to the meets and preach to them.

Try Joe Hernandez (since you need a criminal atty) He's a friend of my fam. I used him on my reckless charge and he did an OK job.

Be sure you talk money and possible outcomes of the case up front before you fork over any cash

I didn't think a sport bike could indicate more than 183 due to the 300 kph maximum law in Europe. Interesting that the R1 can.
