Man, I think this guy is a total stupid for what he did but wishing injury or death on him is not cool.

Nah...I ride the speed limit. All the time. I dont whoolie, ever. I always signal and come to a complete stop. I use my rear brake on the street and typically do all my cornering by way of counter steering. I wear full gear, every single time I am on the bike, including a neck brace, even if I am warming up the chain for lube. My plate is in full view, I always carry an ez tag and never ever split cars and my inspection and registration is ALWAYS current.

Seriously tho...I do have insurance.

I agree....

I have a ticket that my wife framed that says "most expensive ticket ever". Over 10 yrs ago, I was clocked at over 3X the limit. They came to my house and arrested me about 30 mins after I got home. In the end, it cost me over $2.5K, I got deferred adjudication (had to stay completely clean for 1 yr), and 100 hrs community service. I met all of the requirements, and it never hit my record. I learned from that experience...

Edgar will get past this and will have learned some things in the process.

How you present yourself to the att. plays a huge role in how he defends you. If you come off as a butthead you will be defended as such. This will be more true with an out of town defense.

Absolutely. That's why I recommended my friend, Atty. John Duong. However, John is more Harris County, since he was a former Prosecutor, and is a good friend of HC's DA. He has a good network of friends. More importantly, he works hard for you, and really works the system as best he can to your advantage or benefit.... and it is a "system".
