Bridgestone--BT003RS Opinions

How many guys have tried the BT003RS on the track? Advanced riders or faster opinions prefered please. Would you feel confident the tires running sub 1:45s at MSRH? the season is near end so I'm debating on buying the race tire or the new BT003RS. Thanks in advance.

If you're going to ride street too, the Ride Smart is a no-brainer. I don't think you'll save much money vs the 003PRO, but if it's track only I'd stick with the PRO.

The 003RS is plenty good enough to go fast on any track.

the LSTD team loved them...

we practiced and raced these tires last season.
we'd race on them for 6 hours and leave them on for track days too.
they work great!
john hutchinson knows more than anyone about these specific tires and can give you guidance on how to make them work for any bike.
the rear tires seemed to last longer than any other tire we've tried.
and the fronts give good feedback too.
as with any tire, keep a close eye on your pressures.

I would'nt run race tires on the street.
Especially with the cooler temps coming up.
The Ride Smart's offer plenty of grip for a decent paced track day rider and they come up to temp quicker than the pro's and probably are'nt as sensitive to heat cycles as the race tires.

Just got off the phone with John, looks like I'll be servicing my suspension before I do anything. He was very informative and helpful. Man knows his , end of story.

Consistent 45's on the Ride Smart tire would be fast at MSRH. I look forward to hearing about the results.

I'm taking my bike to Motorcycles Unlimited and having my suspension (f/r) serviced and getting everything racetech for the rear, very excited about that..... bike is pushing 13,000 miles on stock fluids I'm sure you will be at the track when I try them out.
