Zx6r exhaust thoughts price matters

im assuming that there is no difference besides style, or does this actually make a differnce in performance or sound?

I am curious about the pricing also. Is carbon better since it is the most costley?

Also what really is the difference in brands?
I am looking to get an exhaust soon, and am clueless.

Carbon is no better than say ss and is more fragile to boot. It's
more expensive because carbon costs more to make.

Yosh makes good stuff.

Fwiw there's a lot of exhausts on close out right now, I got crzy88 a smoking deal on a Leo Vince full system, I want to say it was somewhere in the $600.00 range for a full Leo system.
Give me a shout tomorrow and I can check what brands are on closeout and get you hooked up.

Not really if you're not racing the bike. I was just using 88's case as a example.
I planned on lookong for closeouts on slip ons for you as that's what you were lookong for.

Yea, Motorcycles Unlimited hooked me up. I'm not racing but more into track days. I wanted a slip on at first, but with the price he gave me, I was able to get a full system for the going rate of some newer slip ons. Plus, I felt like splurging. I had been pondering the yosh system too. Those come at around 700 for the full. Motorcycles Unlimited will definitely be able to find you a good deal on a slip on, but if you want a full or can afford it, they can find some on close out I'm sure.

Give em a call! Good luck.

MHO, I'd look into the Leo options Patrick pointed out. Yosh systems aren't that great. Especially considering a little more (sometimes) $$$ and you're rockin a well built and well developed exhaust.
