Saddle soap (interesting) I just don't have the funds to spend on the $$$ gear.

With 2 kiddos and the stay home wife I am lucky to keep my hobby @ this point. Had to by a downed bike and re-build for sake can I get some violin music already

I dunno if my leathers would be considered cheap? I have the A-Stars SP-1 jacket along with the A-Stars track pants...I've been caught in the rain b4, but nothing too bad, and it held up fine when I air dried it, i haven't used saddle soap, just a sponge with water/soap and used a semi-wet sponge to get the soap residue off

No worries. Although its nice to have a leader the Forest Gnomes know what they are doing and someone will volunteer to sweep, lead and also fall into where gaps in the lines come in.

You're in good hands, I promise.

Bevo, u interested? Wanna call the go/no go tomorrow morning?

Nothing changes w original set up.

I mentioned because of weather 2hrs before start time we'll announce go/no go so those whom have to drive out can still make it.

I'll plan on being at the start w you all.

Just got home from Missouri

Started and idled bike for 10 minutes.
Rode down the street for a few minutes.
Cleaned my chain with Motoline Chain Clean 611 and a used sock
Lubed my chain with Maxima Chain Wax.
Front TP is @ 32 (need to add 3-4lb)
Rear TP is @ 34 (need to add 1-2lb)
Added a few tablespoons of Kawi Oil

But I am beat! I dunno if I will be coming out and it also depends on the weather. Also, my luggage got lost so now I have to wait for that to be delivered because I am in desperate need of clean clothes...

I'll committ tonight if I am going but at this time, mostly due to weather and tiredness, I am 30% go

I'm on the South Side of Houston and am not feeling real confident right now to lead anyone with this weather. I was really looking forward to the ride and even cleaned and lubed my chain today

I would love to go on this ride tomorrow, but after watching someone go down today and the probable weather, I will def not be making it. I wanted to check this one out too. Maybe next time.
