not necessary, but you won't get the performance boost from the full system if you don't get a pc3/5

I ran a full system klast year w/o one and it ran fine. Spend your money on tires, brake lines, brake pads, and other stuff instead.

Like i said i broke down and bought one. I already have new tires and brake lines and the bikes only got 7000 miles on it so i dont think the pads are an issue yet

OP you do that PC is not being utilized/optimized unless you spend the $ to have it dyno-tuned, and even then you'll gain a few hp for a several hundred dollars.......lol

point is spend the $ on trackdays vs making your bike faster, its faster then your skill level already.

the 4-5hp gain that you spent $1000 on is 5 trackdays.

Your profile says 4-8 months experience... if that's true and you think you are pretty darned good then you, my friend, are in for a rude awakening.
Don't get mad at me, I speak the truth from experience.

+1 Sign up for a track day. I will be glad to help if i can.

so what it's his bike he wants to do what he wants to it. Quit bashing him. Do what you want to your bike, but later on go to some track days and you'll learn how to handle your newly modded bike! What exhaust did you get?
