cammed the GTO finally

finally got the cam and stall put in on thursday and next was the dyno tune, final numbers were 379/352.

we started at 332/341, thats a 47 hp gain and only 11 ft.lb of tq gain but i'm happy and very pleased with the way it runs

thanks to Joneric for hanging out with last night listening to the goodness of the ole LS1 engine on the dyno.

That seems like an awesome HP gain from just the cams.

I love those cars. They look soo stealthy, yet sound soo mean.

CAM, american muscle only has and needs 1 cam. and thanks, it sounds really awesome, i can't stress how much i love the sound.

the stall converter alone was worth twice its value OMG

that was it's first "cold" start since the install so it was a bit rough, a warm start starts right up. supposedly it takes a bit for the new tune to catch up to all the new mods. it idles around 950-1000 b/c it loses a portion of the power brakes b/c of a vacuum loss with the stall.

it's an 4 speed auto with a 3200 rpm stall, and it's freaking awesome to drive this car. power is everywhere you need it and instantaneously, i wish the bikes throttle response was this good.

sorry Keith, no pool tonight for us we have other plans.

i can't wait to go drive it around again, i guess i'll be going up to get some new oil so i can change that tomorrow morning

this thing spells nothing but trouble now
