Wish my @ss good luck...

literally Gonna ride up to San Antonio this weekend. I've done the trip once before and found out my @ss is good for 150 miles of riding (too bad my girl friend lives 186 miles ) Though it is a long ride, its also a fun ride. I found I enjoy it more with no music in my ear and a of a lot cheaper in gas $$$

What's the longest you've rode? Does the it get easier the more you ride as far as endurance?

See ya when I get back, I'll be the one at ASI sitting on a doughnut

Should be a nice trip , weather looks good.
My hometown is Flatonia, almost a mid point between Houston & San Antonio.
It is 100 miles west of Houston, nice rest stop for you.
I ride my cruiser down there from time to time.
We have a house there.
Be careful if you ride at night, they have a lot of hit & runs in San Antonio.
Read the paper this morning & a 24 year old girl was hit & killed on her bike last night.
Be safe & have a nice ride.

I rode right over 600 miles in a day and will never do it again. Straight line riding is hard on the checks. I want to ride to san antonio to stay with some one but that ride just doesn't seem enjoyable

In the daytime it is okay, especialy if you got time to take the scenic route like hwy. 90 west.
I have been in Flatonia & stayed late on a Sunday visiting my mom & friends ,then had to make the trip back at night.
Talk about erie, lots of darkness & just the motor running.

Gold Bond medicated FTW.... puts that nice cooling sensation all on your .

I personally think your endurance builds up the more that you do those longer rides. I used to ride to and from Austin every weekend, 160 miles each way. Takes a few times to get used to.

There is a little mexican resturant just off the freeway exit of Flatonia, great food & a cheap price.Check it out.
Might ride my cruiser down there Saturday afternoon & cut our yard.
Feel free to stop & say hello.
Our house is across the street from the dairy queen , just past grumpys motor inn.

This summer I did 3000 miles in seven days, to North Carolina and back, spending two days in NC. The first day I rode from Houston to Jacksonville Florida.

Oh yeah, did this on a 2004 r6.
