I figure if I can get a 1.59-1.61 60', I SHOULD be able to get a 9.79@140-141mph....thats about all this ole hooptie is gonna go do with its stock motor and me weighing 190-195lbs suited....Some swing arm extentions would probably get me in the low 1.50 60's and definetly 9.60s-9.70s then but...... I won't even end up putting them on......Just gonna start on the busa....

I may be able to compete with you now. The times may have been better towards the end had I had some air in the bottle. I missed shifts on several passes. I checked the psi. when we got home and it showed 0.

How/Where do you refill your bottles...?

I noticed that the cycle-tek system is C02 (like paintball guns) and doesn't use an on-board compressor. Any trouble with that setup...? How many shifts do you get in before a refill...? Do you remove your tail to access the bottles for every refill...?

I can't believe the MPH was down. We need to find someone local that sells MR9...

The bottles are pb bottles. They are 3.5 oz. We fill they at Academy for about 1.50 each. We dont have any problems other than leaks when the bottle isnt screwed on real tight. Its supposed to be 65 shifts per. I have not counted. I make about 3 trips to the track on one though. Between Joe and I, we have 6 bottles.

Cool, I didn't realize Academy refilled them these days. That will make it real easy....

It got me 6rwhp on the dyno and 200mph+ at the Mile. I've seen people spend a lot more money than that for less power...

Hey Gents, how is everyone doing? I will be comming home for 2 weeks on the 15th. On the 23rd I am planning to take my first trip down the strip @ HRP. I have a few ?s.
1) How strict is HRP on the dress regs. (Especially if it is the 1st time)
- Knowing the Busa can hit 125 easily, do they require Full leathers or can you wear leather jacket and pants?
2) For a rookie, how important is the burn-out?
3) Any tips on learning to launch (other than don't get dumped)?

Any advice / assistance would be sweet!

you dont have to do a burn out
You go over 120 and full leather is required
launch tips can be had at the track
See www.houstonraceway.com for rules
