Also, I recommend you take it easy driving/riding for at least a few weeks or till you get used to surviving in the mad house of Houston traffic (whichever is longer). It is a completely different kind of driving (I learned on the Dan Ryan).
I noticed when I was visiting a couple weeks ago. The driving down there is what is getting me a job. I wont have my bike with me till probably around Jan. I am leaving the wife in chicago for a little bit.

CLSB just kidding. Well, get ready for the nice weather...it's finally getting nice around here.

From Villa Park...sorta, right down the street Michael Anthony's (if you've been to a CR bike night).

Anyhow, welcome to MH. Lot's of BS to wade through here (mainly Post whoring). Much more active board than CR for sure. Not sure if you are into the track scene, but plenty of them to do.

sh*t...I think the folks in Chicago are worse drivers...we just go much faster here in Texas. and then there are 10 times the # of F250's and the like. And the pavement here is like butter compared to that of the Dan Ryan, 294, or I-57.

It all depends on your definition of worse. We drove aggressively, used turn signals and didn't match speed (unless you are following someone at 100 yards back so the cops tag the leader and not the follower).
Here everyone signals by drifting into your lane, can't maintain a speed if being passed/passing or over a hill and would be scarred chitless (average cager) if they go 10 mph over the speed limit at night.

Auto Body- I take over as the GM for Sterling in Bellaire.

I like how when there is a funeral they have to take up 3 lanes of one of the loops I was on. I was like WTF is this?

Hey man, I'm originally from the Chicago burbs also, lol. Grew up on the NW side, in Melrose Park. I've been to a CR bike night in VP!! I think the last one I went to, El Diablo (Matt) was the one who was hosting it.

Welcome to MH My name is Ormand

Bring me some Vienna Beef Chicago Hot Dogs all-the-way plz, chargrilled. When you come to texas, there are 3 things you must eat:

TEXMEX - Gringos in Pearland...try the beef fajitas
BBQ - Pappas BBQ on 610/I-45 in South Houston
STEAK - Taste of Texas

When you have these 3 things, you will forget about your chicago hot dog and your giovannis pizza.
