Graphics are cheesy but that is a pimp bike! I've been really wanting to throw a leg over the new crf450 to feel that fuel injected engine pull!

What do you think about Yamaha going with this motor design? Looks pretty sick to me. I dont realy care for having a fuel pump on a dirt bike though.

I think the engine design with it slandting backwards is pretty cool.. Makes ya look twice. The plastics make you look twice also, it's different.

I'm really want to ride a fuel injected MX bike.. My buddy at the honda shop was telling me that when they got their first fuel injected 450 in, they started it up and set it down on the ground on it's side and it still purred like nothing.. That's badass for a MX bike. I'd like to see how the YZ and CR compare riding them.

I have a Cannondale 440 motorcross bike that is fuel injected and electric start, and it is one bad , carbs are just gas toilets, they should outlaw them, Not too many people on here drive carburated cars, dont be scared of injected bikes, sports bikes are injected, this is a whole new millenium guys

For racing... yes. Good tard.

For street...no I'd go WR450f for street.

As a true motard how would that do? You are comparing apples and oranges?
E-start? Heavy?

Likely much better than any mx'r as a tru motard & even better on the street due to E-start & fact elect. & lighting, gearing etc.
may be a bit heavier but virtually unnoticable on paved surfaces.

Same bike isn't it?
I had a 2005 WR450 and the only difference then was the addition of an electic start (30lbs).
You take out a throttle stop screw and have the race bike.

If the F had Fuel injection I would be inclined to agree but if the F stats carb, go with the YZ. KIck start for the street is a PITA though!

Either one would make a badasss motard! TOurqe from bottom to the rev limiter. You will be living life on the back wheel!

I love that aluminum frame! I have frame envy!
