I don't see the problem here, your friend was driving a motorcycle without a license. Sounds like a win in my book, the LEO did exactly what he should of done. Tell your buddy to keep his off the streets until he gets a license.

Look, my roommate is a Brazoria County Sheriff, he rides as well. They are cracking down, period. If you don't have an M endorsement, your bike IS getting impounded, fact. They also have the right to take you to jail, and depending on what you were doing to cause the stop will determine whether you're on your buddy's seat cowl or you're on the cruiser seat. Take MSF, get your M endorsement and your insurance people, it may be a hassle and cost cash, but it'll save you court costs/jail time and give you peace of mind. It may just be me, but I have no interest in having a "I got pinched" status on my Facebook, lol.

It has definately been worth it for me.. $ in tickets, $ in towing fees... I saved well over a couple thousand dollars.

But good luck with everything and be safe out there

If you like to break the law and then risk your freedom, health/life by running, that is your choice, but do not encourage others to do soo.

We've gotten a few members already dead or permanently disabled from making these type of choices.
Not to mention it's highly illegal and if someone gets hurt or killed by chasing you, you will be the one held responsible.

Warning recieved.

As of Sept. 1, you are REQUIRED to take the MSF class to get rid of that restriction.

If you want to leave the restriction, you're good to go as is.

Scorpio is right, if you wanna be a and run, go ahead. People, don't follow these boneheads, they're gonna lead you to jail, hospital, or the morgue. Every weekend in our fire department district we see some jackass on a bike that has cut off a family and caused them to run into a tree, or they're running from the LEOs, crash and hurt someone or just start when they do bin it so they don't go to jail. Let me tell you this, you run in our city and hurt someone, you'd better be bleeding to death right there otherwise I'm gonna tell the 5-0 it's ok to take you to jail first no matter what you're injuries. You make your bed, you sleep in it. You wanna go be a and endanger people, go do it in Mexico or something. Don't let your irresponsibility KILL OR HURT OTHER PEOPLE!!!

Ya thats wat i was thinkin too.. haters sounds right. squids run there mouths everytime i get on here... and i never encouraged anyone to run at all. please post where i ENCOURGED anyone...??? and breaking the law.. speeding is against the law and is dangerous.. wheeling.. racing.. etc. but no one on here does these things..

i have a very good friend that got pulled over from speeding (not running) and the cop that pulled him over took him to jail for "evading." got felony dropped to misdemenor. just personally i have not seen cops be fair to motorcyclists. so personally i do wat i do so i dont get loaded wit tickets or even go to jail.... yall do wat yall gotta do. not askin yall to follow..

And yes slowblack05.. i remeber that trip. i will NEVER take the race bike there ever again wit all them troopers. lol. it was funny when u smoked that vette on the back wheel and when the cop pulled me over.... (well u know wat happened after that.. i cant talk about running here cause i am the only one to ever do that and its against the law)
