So Buell decides to build 30 or 50 full-on, turn-key race bikes to enter in the Formula Extreme class. A class that is currently being dominated by 600cc sportbikes.

The Buell's are kinda purty and have some interesting engineering in them.. fuel in the frame, oil in the swingarm (?) but um.. 1340cc V-twin against 600cc I-4's?? Sad. I don't care what engine technology you are using, you still should not be allowed to use +2x the displacement in a certain class.

Buell had 4 of these bikes entered in the Daytona 200.. none of them finished. It was kinda funny when i read on this article that the problem was reportedly 'broken FCC clutches made in Japan"
