The Ninja 250

I'm looking at getting an 07 Ninja 250, I ride a zuki m50 right now but I'm kinda wanting to get the ninja for fun, I've never ridden a sport-bike and i dont want to be dissatisfied with the power.

I really like my M50 its a daily driver, hardly take my car anywhere but to the grocery store but I'm starting to grind on corners alot, its got plenty of power to keep me happy but its not as agile as i would like.

input? 250 riders?

It'll read 110, but it won't do it. My sister has an 08 I ride around quite a bit, and I love it. I wouldn't want it as my only bike as it's pretty slow, but as an extra playtoy it's loads of fun, and cheap to maintain.

I guess Motorcycle Consumer News did too.......Top Speed: 95.5 mph

Don't worry, some day when you get experienced you'll learn that speedos aren't correct.

i have a 07 ninja 250 and love it, i dont know about all these other guys but i got to 115 in the hov lane when mine was stock and that was only pushin 12k rpms, its the most fun bike ive ever rode. i would try to find one of the newer generation ones though they have larger tires and better brakes and looks a little sportyer

and stunt your learning curve and take longer to get to the same level of skill as ninja 250 woulld teach you, yeah way to go.......

buy a 250 right and most times you can resell for very little loss. vs a 600

I'm a proud owner of an '09 Ninja 250 and I can say the bike is awesome. I would go for an '08 or later Ninja 250 though. There are numerous changes/improvements made between the '07 and '08 models.
