Sick and Riding

Is there any feeling in the world more miserable? My stomach cramped and I fought wave after wave of nausea on my 35 minute ride home today - AFTER I got sick at school. I was finally able to eat something, but I feel awful.

biscuits. I put myself on the B.R.A.T. diet. It's basically a white food diet- bananas, rice, apples, toast. Nothing oily or heavy or yummy.

That's the worst! I made the mistake of trying to ride the morning after having a few drinks. Got up fine, got on the bike, and made it to the gas station. The smell of gasoline and my helmet strap too tight almost made me call dinosaurs right at the pump. Took me 20 min in the A/C to finally get back on the bike...

Wow. That sucks. I was freezing (even though it was 80+), so A/C was not my friend. My fever just broke right now!

I got sick at a track day once, I barely made it off the track and got my helmet off before I started vomiting.

I am sorry that you are sick. I have been sick with a 103 fever since Tuesday. My fever broke just today. I am feeling a little better but not to swell yet!

Sucks to ride when you're sick. Could be dangerous, too, if you think about it.

Hopefully you won't be in that situation again, in the future, but if you are, take advantage of the MH Roadside Assistance Program http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=96948

I have a few jobs going on in Kingwood, and I would have been happy to pick you up and trailer your bike back home.

Nope. I slept all day yesterday and today I feel great. Just need to get out of bed and get moving.

I CAN'T be pregnant; taken care of long ago. But thanks for playing.
