maybe yes maybe no still fact is if i am on my bike i dont even think about alcohol knowing i gotta ride to get home...... all i can say is how immature of you and its one thing you can sit in the comfort of your home or office and post this like your cool or something but reality of it is a stupid decision like that and you could be in a hospital bed not posting and bragging or even worse we would just be reading about it in the paper.....

Sad sad sad..... sry you ride a bike man I am a friend to all bikers but the ones that do like you make me sad to say i am...

As far as speeding wise, I was going 120 @ 55 and (not drinking) on Grand Parkway. Constable paced me fm behind atleast 2 miles. I didn't even know until I look in the mirror for my friend. I got a lawyer and ended up costing me well over $6xx.00 including probation. I was lucky enough for not going to jail. It might be higher nowadays. Good luck.

Talking

the leading cause of death on motorcycles is DUI and not having a liscense.

I would hope that everyone here would be responsible for their own safety and others when making decisions of riding.

I realize Im new to the forum and bashin folks after 5 posts isn't popular...

:soapbox:

but with all respect, it takes enough gumption and skill to operate a machine at those speeds straight sober, and to try to do it Under the influence, be that alcohol, reefer, or just plain lack of sleep.

when you get on the road youre not only putting yourself in danger but others.

and IMHO, if you're gonna play the game, better be ready to pay the consequences. if you break the law, at least be responsible for your actions.

the laws are there to protect folks, be it themselves or others. We have laws for a reason. put it on the track.

:/soapbox:

ride safe and be smart out there boys and girls so you can live to ride another day! :icon_bigg
