Thumbs down Making the qouta

So I haven't drove my bike to work in awhile so decided to take it today, I usualy take westhiemer to fondrin but since the city decided to repave it I've been avoiding it like the plague. I'm cruising down Richmond going about 38 with traffic I get past the belt way and a deputy comes flying up behind me he must of been going 60 and he turns his lights on horns a fkin blazin so I pull over in the discount tire right there 10sec from work and he tells me he clocked me doing 40 in a 35 fml... I hate mondays

Fight it especially if you were riding with the flow of traffic. His dash cam would show that as long as he hasn't deleted the footage.

that is sh*t. Normally id say you gotta pay to play, but 40 in a 35? Was it a school zone? That and construction zones have 0mph leeway. If it says 25, that means 25 or less.

Nope not a school zone or workers present anything like that just 40 in a 35 I wasn't flying threw traffic or anything I was just going with traffic. I'm sure this ticket will be dissmissed but now I'm going to have to take time off work to take care of this.

With COH I can show up to the court anytime as long as it's before the posted date right?

Cops don't show up for 40/35mph tickets unless you were an . Reset your court date and seperate yourself from the sheep.

Um says who? Some departments (ie constables, small city departments) are required to show up to ALL court dates.

This isn't necessarily true, I don't know about all departments but for most of them they are required to show up to their court dates. I got a ticket from a DPS officer a while back and tried to fight it, he'd been transferred to South Texas and he was required to drive to Nacogdoches to show up to court. I heard him talking about it to another officer while I was waiting for court to start.
