a friend's relative was in a bad bike wreck

i think she said it was her nephew. he hit a tree and broke both arms, some ribs, punctured a lung, has head trauma, has been out for some days. not looking good.
i dont know many details beyond that. no helmet.
probably huntsville area. they may have to amputate an arm
probably no gear. this is someone who has been wanting a sportbike for a long time. im guessing she's past that now.
anyways, the guy could use some love

RIP. I've seen so many of these threads over the past 2 yrs. It's getting harder and harder to keep seeing this hobby as "fun". Prayers to family.
