Pay someone's gas and buy them lunch, and I'm sure someone would be willing to strap into the back of a truck. Up the ante a bit.

Paid 18.33 for a 5x9 hauler for TWS (Texas World Speedway) last weekend...

Who cares if it's raining? It's on a trailer. It won't melt, I promise.

+1

A lil water won't kill the bike. If time is a factor just get it on a trailer whether it's raining or not, get it home, let it dry, and enjoy after your M class is firmly in your pocket beside your proof of insurance.

As others have said, I would try to trailer it or truck it if at all possible.

If you really have no other options and want to get it immediately, I'd be willing to meet you down at your place and go to get it and ride it home for you, if it's not rainging too badly. I get off work at 5ish.

Good luck on it though. And have fun at the BRC next week. You'll love it.

Eh, I like you guys about as well as I like my proof reading skills. I could have waxed eloquent, but don't really care enough. So do your own write up. I just thought your boy did a crappier job than I did, but I guess he cared even less. Don't you have to be watching right now?

Im keeping my options open... Im the kind of person that goes and buys everything I see first time I see it... Plus, buying 2nd hand is tedious. Im looking for both a beginner AND long term bike so I want to spend wisely.

Also, I still have my AwesomeCycles weekend coming up *I CANT WAIT!!!* and I need to get my M endorsement or at least take the test next monday. When I get the license, then nothing will be able to stop me... Other than the price of course :P

If all goes well, I might end up buying that ninja 500 since its a good beginner bike and powerful enough to last me some time.

Post up some details like price, miles, pics, etc. Or maybe even a link to the bike, there are lotsa guys on here that can give you good advice if the bike you're looking at is worth buying.

Just FYI. Good luck.

go for the tw200 when you get to class. that bike was the . probably one of the better non cruisers out there. maybe the best.
good choice on the ninja 500. it's a design worth making for like 20 years

also, haggle for the guy to deliver. have him follow you home on the bike and then take him home or something.
