Anyone recognize this bike?? Orange '02 GSXR 600

http://images.craigslist.org/3n53k63...cc7e971148.jpg

Let me know if the link doesn't work.

I'm thinking about trading my TL for it, was wondering if anyone knows anything about it. It's in nacogdoches i think.

On a side note, does anyone here track an '02 Gixxer 6? Whats your opinion?

My last track bike was an '03 gixxer six, and I really liked it. The front end is really, really good and it's a very stable platform.

My only complaint was the power. It makes about 90 hp at the wheel and it's hard to run with the '06+ bikes.

As far as a trackday bike, they're cheap and plentiful and they're really good for track days. I'd buy one in a heartbeat if the price was right.

Cool, that sounds like the polar opposite of the TL, scary twitchy front end, but ample power to run down the 600's. The TL makes you learn to be smooth real quick.

one big plus to that generation gsxr is cheap parts that are a breeze to find. I wouldnt be hesitant at all if the price is right I had a 2001 750 and loved that bike.

It looks like it has a number on the front but not on the back. I don't recall seeing it at any CMRA races.

Dude, if you want to try just let me know. Seriously, I've had that TL on the barter section of craigslist and have had some really interesting stuff thrown my way... a few really nice seadoos, a nice custom '80 short bed chevy truck (dirt bike would look perfect in the back of mind you), '95 GT vert (last year for the 302), street legal '04 Honda XR400 (perfect platform for a motard), '90 custom chevy truck with a late model 350 and a 5 speed manual...

My TL is listed at only 3200 (blue book is 3600 for stock), and it has race tech springs and valves, Bitubo shock, new tires, dual M4 cans and some more nice upgrades. Some race plastic and it could be a great track bike. Come up with an idea that's worth 3200 and we can talk ok?

this where the bike started that i know of. it was mikes bike 04rsvr
here's the thread.
http://www.motohouston.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=42797

then bubby and candie bought it and rode it for a little while.

then i bought it, painted it and had the wheels powder coated orange to match. and tony HOP painted the body work.

It's got a lot of aftermarket goodies on it. i sold it to a guy in austin. he's a really cool guy and has a few triumphs. but none the less he's a good guy to deal with
