Drunks......

You guys wanna talk about a different topic, OK

1. What do yall think about the undercover cops arresting ppl in bars for P.I.?

2. What happens when that person isnt driving and they have a designatated driver, do they still get the P.I. and get taken in?

Plus I know some decent ppl who can drink and still have good judgement to know when to stop. I sometimes am not one of them, there has been many time when I dont remember anything past 11:00PM. I now feel that its ok to get the ones that are messing up the club/bar for the rest of the patrons, but the other "calm" drunks, what happens to them. Pretty soon establishments will either loose patrons because of the risks or see a decline in drink sales that results in high cover charges.

whats your .02????

Well I think thats who they are after most, the ones falling every where, acting stupid, causing trouble. Its not like they are starting exit lines where you gotta pass the test to leave.

I think its bogus.
one guy , and I posted the link in the forums somewhere to the story, anyways one guy who was arrested for PI was from out of town, he was arrested in a hotel bar, the very same hotel where he had a room to stay for the night, yet, because of this, he lost his high paying yob. (and an illegal took it the very next day!)

speaking of illegals........ (I know Sol is going:BangHead: )

first thing some people dont know is that this has been going on for sometime now, they just decidede to make an annoucement about it, probably to keep drunks in check, and as far as them taking anyone they want, well its possible, they can actually walk into a bar pick out 5 ppl and tell them come with them without any questions asked., doesnt matter how long u were in there and how many beers u had they will just take u in. i think its all BS, its good that they are trying to to get all the dunks off the steet but they arent hitting the right places. like college bars, downtown or little hole cantinas. its got its up and downs on the real outcome on this

i think drunk people add to the party.... until they get out of hand.. then take them away and let them sleep it off in a jail cell....

they can still arrest you if you're drunk in public. not like your body guard will stop the cops
