I rode. It wasn't raining on my side at 6:30 when I hit the HOV. I could see the lightening, though!

No rain suit for me yet. If it looks like I can make it to work dry, then I ride. I don't care about getting wet on the way home. I'll invest in something eventually

I don't wear any rain gear unless it is really cold.

If I get wet, I will dry out.

I had some Frogtogs, they worked perfect for me until some sister wrecked in them... unfortunately they do not hold up well in an accident. Plus, they were only $40 for the set.

had frog togs. Sucked after a while from the water proofing wearing away and didn't work for squat in really heavy rain (cruiser position = crotch rain puddle). I now have a full one piece rain suit, but only wear it if it is cold. I just change at the office. Today I rode with military issued wet weather parka, but didn't wear the trousers 'cause I worried about the muffler melting a hole in less than .1 micro seconds.

So- in fifteen minutes I will venture back out onto the streets and get wet and dirty. I love my bike.

I also rode today like most days, got into the Katy Managed Lane (HOV) at around 7:30AM, no rain but the sky looked really dark on the East side. I will leave the office at 6:00PM and seems like the sky will be clear per the weather.com page.

I don't mind riding in the rain if I'm going back to the house, but in the morning will be bad to get in the office with casual business attire all wet.

Another thing I really do not like about riding in the rain is the cleaning that you are supposed to do to the chain. I really neglect that a lot.

I have a slicker suit that they wear out at the refineries that fits over my jacket. It keeps me dry as . Plus only cost like 40 bucks.

the rader is indicating it's going to be a wet ride home (32 miles).

Oh well, I guess I will have to wash my gear again.
