Hey guys,
I took my bike over to Patrick's shop today and had them install my PCIIIUSB, FI fix and tune my suspension. I have to say, those guys over there are extremely knowledgable when it comes to bikes. They were all cool as and id take my bike back to them anytime!

I just wanted to post up my experience! Thanks again guys over there at Motorcycles Unlimited! Awesome work!! Great prices too!!

Yep peeps just dont know how cool they really are there untill you go. i am still amazed that i have been to numerous other shops 5-6 times and they dont know me from adam and eve but when i went to pats shop for the very 1rst time he greated me by name as soon as i told him what kind of bike i had....and since then greets me everytime. Pat and his colleges are the best!

Not trying to start any problems, but I have to say...... I had never been to moto unlimited untill yesterday and I went in there to pick up a new back tire, the owner patric or what ever his name was was very rude (in my opinion) and charged me $190 dollars for a back tire (installed) I am not a newb to the bike world and I know what tires go for, and I told him his price was too high, but I just needed a new tire then and there (long story)

Please everyone be cool, I am just stating my opinion, not trying to talk s*#t or discredit motorcycles unlimited, just stating one thing I felt was wrong....

Just outta curiosity, have you gotten any other prices from shops for the same tire installed? Dunno what kind of bike you have, but that sounds about right for a new tire installed on your average sport bike.

Really, I have looked in a couple of places, and I worked at a kawasaki dealership in conroe, for a little while, and they were cheaper. like I said, Im not trying to bash on motorcycles unlimiteds skills or prices, or service, on any other product, but it was high for the tire.

It would help if we new what kind of tire it was and size. BUt im sorry you had a bad experiance and you have to understand how busy he gets and he gets really when something isnt right like when 2swanga bought his exst and they shipped the wrong one lol. You would not of wanted to be there that day. But in all honesty pat is a great guy and exstreamly knowledgable his prices may be a tad higher sometimes but the shop is worth it.

Thanks for the props guys!
We're not perfect by any means, but we work hard at it.

Lee,
$190.00? More like $185.17; $129.95 for the tire, $42.50 for mount and balance, $2.00 tire disposal, and $10.72 in tax.

IF you had mentioned you were MotoHouston, M&B would have been only $37.50. I apologize if I came across as rude, was reacting to how you presented yourself. No harm, no foul.

Patrick

I Know Patrick and crew for a couple of years now, I gotta say, they rule, at the shop or at the track, awesome team.

As far as I know, they have the cheapest tires around in a regular basis, but you can always shop around and compare, that way if you want to same 50 cents and drive 50 miles, well, it's your calll

Rude? maybe it's just the way he talks, he's s straight talker, he won't give you any bull, I prefer that than a sweet talker guy that will screw me.
