I was good to make it to Galveston. Burke was done when we left his hood.

There are plenty of much better roads around Austin than 2222...

Really depends what you like. Most are slower, tighter and more technical than what people are used to around here. Lots of hills and blind corners so be on your toes.

Never seen Lake Travis so low. Normally go every year with family to Lake Travis and this was the first time we haven't gone. Hope they get rain soon.

Yeah I wish I would have known other roads. I have never ridden in Austin before and I rode up there by myself so I didn't have any guides or anything. I was told about Lime Creek Road but that was right before I was about to leave town. Maybe next time we can get a small group to go and have someone that knows the roads. 2222 was pretty technical itself but way too much traffic. Maybe a trip this fall will be in order. When you get the 12R done, maybe we could roll it up there.

The Bandit is ready whenever! I am seriously thinking of heading to the hill country Leakey area end of Sept.. but was thinking of trailering Fri, ride all day sat/sun come back sunday night. I'll know better by mid-month. May change to riding depending on who goes.

12R should be done, other than the clutch, by mid Sept, but not sure I want to take it that far from home and take a chance on messing it up. It has sentimental meaning and will stay nice.
