Kill switch shorting?
Sounds like electrical vs fuel.

Thats nothing. This guy ^^^ can do that over the phone!

I called him when I was having a code issue up in college station. The mechanics there apparently ride the short bus to work.
I called Patrick, he asked me one question, I hung my head in embarassment and the problem was fixed.

Thanks again, Patrick! You are teh awesome!

The other thing I was thinking was the kickstand kill switch. it was bypassed when I got the bike, not sure what they did to bypass it but wonder if it could have caused that?
there is no switch homie....I just bypassed the switch with the wiring. The switch itself is no longer there (I think). Just make sure that wiring is still connected to "close the circuit". If that don't work, I got $500 on Dino.

Wouldn't turn over or wouldn't run?
The kick stand switch won't let it turn over, if it's turning over it won't stop it from running.

Eliminate the obvious reasons then work from there. Check plugs for spark, check coil for power, check frayed non soldered connections, fuses, etc.
