I do love riding my GSX-R600 with fellow MH'ers.

I love riding because traffic is never an issue. Slow but NEVER stop. Always enough wiggle room to get by the bullsh*t. Stealth mode RULES!!!

i love my 09 r6 because unlike other b*tches she doesn't complain when i ride her hard. can't complain with 45mgp. had her since janurary and with over 10,+ miles on her she's still going strong. she is my crack and my therapy. when we're on the twisties its like we are making love.

I'm going out on a limb here, but IMO it's directly related to how you ride. If you're at high rpms all the time, your mpg drops significantly. At least mine does. In order to get the 55 mpg, I have to keep the rpms under 7000- and usually closer to 6000. But since it's commuting, it's not hard.

Be honest. If you couldn't shower, would you still commute on the bike?

I have to dress like a grown up and I ride about 40 miles each way everyday to downtown. I even ride on the days that I have to look really presentable and give training classes.

The career that allows me to buy all my cool toys obviously takes precedence over using them whenever I want. In these tough economic times, when they're looking to lay people off, I don't want to be know as "the stinky guy."

We already did some house cleaning. As much as you hate the slackers, in times like this it's nice to have them around

I love my 06 triumph thruxton. No one else may understand it but I most certainly do and that's what matters to me.

If i do get my bike, I probably wont use it for work because 1. I work 3 mins away. 2. Also, since I will be using the bike for school 90% of the time, the car will have to work on the weekend to stay alive. and 3. I work at HEB and someone might steel my bike.

*spelling error made on purpose*

I rode all the time to The Woodlands when I worked for the oil company. And last summer, when I had classes, I rode to school.

So, yes. And I haven't been hot and sweaty upon arriving at school, yet. It's only in the 70's in the mornings and on my bike I'm cold. I even have to wear my leather.
