Talking I LOVE my *SV650 *insert your bike here

It gets 55mpg on the highway and it's fun to ride!
I get to ride in the HOV = 30 mins to downtown.
Plus, the parking permit was only $12 for the semester and bike parking is right next to the main building's elevators/stair well.

Those who drive their cars to work over commuting on your bike - WHY?

Because it is illegal to ride the way I would want too and the road is unsafe.
Now if you gave me a bike and guaranty that I would not go to jail or get tickets then I would ride to work/commute on a bike.
Would preferer a fast motard so I could jump on the way. That or even better a baja truck?

I love my 08 FZ6.
It gets about 50 mpg. Its fun to ride.
It is my stress therapy on 2 wheels when I leave work and head home.
It has opened a new world and people to me and I have made great friends due to sharing the passion for riding.
It is guaranteed to leave me with a huge smile. Even after my low side.

I love my f4i but no can do on riding to work.

i drive my truck to work. riding will not work...i carry too much stuff to ride, i have sheets, a pillow, several changes of clothes, a blanket, and my bunker gear (helmet, boots, pants, coat, gloves, hood and face mask). I have carried the bunker gear on the bike before but it is very awkward with the bag not being a backpack as well as sticking up over my head by nearly 18 inches...
i would love to ride my f4i TO work if i did not have to carry all that, but going home would suck after 24 hours on the clock and making runs all night long, so no sleep and riding home 40 miles...

Cuz my bike doesn't have A/C and I have to actually be presentable at work. Trust me........I tried. I can't stand being half-stinky in the office all week.

I hate my shadow 750, but love commuting on it.

Umm...ride the way you like. I don't care if you ride track, street, stunt or dirt. Commute or weekend only. Faster than the speed limit or just cruise. Enjoy what you have and leave the p***ing contests to the SBNs.

cuz sometimes at work(most of the time) I am up for 24 hrs....being that tired and 2 wheels don't mix very well. So I drive my big truck just in case I hit something...I will most of the time win.
