any idea what the closest and cheapest one to galveston is?

Fing hilarious. That is EXACTLY how I learned to ride. I am in no way endorsing this kind of behavior, just telling the story.

I bought a '92 GS500E, rode around the hood for a few minutes, and got on 45 at Shepherd and hauled . Sink or swim, worked for me.

That being said, go take the class.

I was on Crystal Beach last year and was told by a rider I met he was an MSF instructer in that area. Check w a local bike shop or call local community colleges and ask them for BRC info.

galveston comm. college i think had classes, not sure about after ike

then all the way up into clear lake, mancuso offers classes at almeda mall, thru either their suzuki or kawi dealership

san jac comm. coll has classes at the beamer location

I did the same thing, bought the bike got home unloaded hit 45 to ih10 went to beaumont figured if i could do that in 5o clock traffic I could do anything

yep, the classes werent boring, and people that have even been riding before learned a lot. Plus the instructors were great and very knowledgeable...they cared about what you were learning and how you progressed. I was happy with my decision even though it was a long drive to and from.

Im mainly worried about boredom I know I have something to learn but I been riding four years so the basic parts might bore me. Plus i just read acc's msf course and it sounds like the worst class effer

yeah some of it is gonna be boring because you already know how to use a clutch and stuff. I wouldnt go to ACC for MSF!!! LMAO

FYI, it's the same material throughout TX, now how the class is presented is like any "teacher" some better then other's.

I know... but after going to ACC (not the greatest instruction with the basic courses over there)..and knowing what alvin is like.... LOL I would not enroll in that class

it's up to you whether it's worth the drive.

ACC gives the class
San Jac at beamer gives the class
Mancuso, has the class at almeda mall.
