*Rear turn signals and the law*

Is it legal for me to ride without rear turn signals?
I'm looking to relocate my plate but to do this I would be disposing of the rear turn signals until Clear Alternatives came out with the integrated tail light + integrated turn signals.
What is the law about having turn signals on both front and rear of your bike??

From what the guys down at the inspection place said you either have all your turn signals or no turn signals at all, front or rear.

They're not necessary but if you do have them, they must be functionable.

That is what I have been told as well. All or nothing.

Swift, see if Suzanne at Motorcycles Unlimited remembers the ones she got for Rick C. Small and easy to pop on, self adhesive. Just get creative in how you install them. I'll send you a pic if I change the track arrangement back to street.

if you have turn signals they must work, that does not mean you have to have them. i don't know about having fts only and no rears.

I will have the rear turn signals soon as C.A. offers the integrated tial light.
I just don't want to catch any chit if I run without until these are available.
I'll have the front turn signals but the rear will be non existant.

, im runnin my bike right not without rear signals. I only have the fronts. My rear integrater came in but it wasnt smoked so they sent it back to get the smoked one. I just dont use my signals and use hand signals until i get both the front and the rear on.

, right now, i dont even have my plate or inspection mounted on the bike. My FE kit hasnt come in yet so i have just been carrying it in my pocket so i can show the cop if i get pulled over that i have both of them and explain the situation. I installed my Full akra and that left me no place to mount the plate until my FE comes in.

Keep in mind, i dont ride anywhere near as much right now because of this but i have ridden a couple times with the way it is. No problems yet. My stuff should be in the next week though. Ive been extremely lucky so far!!
