Kevin Schwantz: First ride/race on a 500cc!!

First time at the track,
cobbled together bike,
just watch him on the brakes
and one of my favourite 500GP privateers, Paul "Angry Ant" Lewis
he would later go on to work at a large HD dealer in the UK and challenged ANY rider (exc those with race licences) on any bike to a one lap sprint around a UK circuit on cold tyres from a standing start!!!!!!!!!
He was on a HD street bike

Enjoy

Wow the circuit looks insane, likewise I like how much torque the bikes had. They wheelied every time they hit the gas.

Surprising that Lewis's bike had a carbon fiber frame in 1986, really pushing the technology.
Great racing!
