Haha I actually took out the r1 a couple times this week to work and school. She is running really good the weather is starting to get alot better too. So all those thoughts of letting her go would just be dumb and I would regret it immediately. Plus in the market I cant sell anything right now I basically gave that honda trail 70 away.

I know adam and this bike is tricked out as and the amount of spares it comes with is rediculous. The sv is great but when I go back to the street on my r1 its the simple things that I miss technologically speaking.

It just depends......SV's are a ton of fun (as you know) and are EASY on tires. Plus, they crash really well
Get an inline and you will start trashing tires a lot quicker.
I think on this trade, as far as value, you would make out for sure, but you just need to figure out if inline is for you or not.

yeah this was my first sv I have owned tons of inlines. your right on tires I have had pilot races on there for 5 track days now. your right as far as value. but like many said if I don't take a chance I wi never know. I figure I can always sell that cbr and build another sv. its worth a shot can't really lose on it I don't think

45000 miles on that bike. And I really want fuel injected this time round.

werd. that semi-built Honda could fetch a pretty penny if you decide to sell and would give you plenty of cash to start building another SV!

yep that's what im saying.. plus the first generation after market parts are getting kind of slim pickens. I have 4 carbed bikes in my garage right now a goldwing a tw200 dual purpose that sv and a honda trail 70 and trust me I love working on carbs rebuilds aren't that bad but if I don't run these bikes every 2 weeks or so they get gummed up and I have to let them sit at idle for awhile. but if he waits im going to take my dads gsxr 600 to TWS (Texas World Speedway) monday so after that ill really have a mindset on what to do. just waiting for him to give me a call today

DO it or you will reret it. If you decide it's not for you - you can always go backwards! Just my opinion but good luck either way!

Careful out there, you don't want to spoil the trade.
