I did it with awesome cycles. Definitely worth the drive and I also live in the sugar land area. I highly recommend them.

EDIT:
As stated above, those people in Terry HS parking lot were the Harley Davidson peeps and that course is NOT the Basic Riding Course.

It is technically the same curriculum as the BRC, just has a different name and a buttload of Harley marketing added to it.

Dependent on the school, usually about $100 more.

Contracted schools such as ours are allowed to charge a maximum of $195, Licensed schools such as the HD Riders Edge program may charge whatever they want.
