sure hoping so, at least this time around I'll be sporting forged innards, so boostage big is gonna be safer.
I dunno, I may not even use the turbo and just run the bike carbed and nx, easy 140+hp.
the cams (575L) I am putting in are not really boost friendly, so we will see how it likes w/o, then maybe swap cams and install turbo ifn' I want more, but me thinks this route will be plenty.

My head will be back on Monday. Should have the bike back by Thursday or no later than Friday. If so I will be out at HMP on Friday night to make sure everything is all good.

not if you buy / build with the right parts.
the head work alone is gonna make some serious power, not cheaping out, bigger valves, better springs, titanium keepers, the machining on the heads will be done via a CNC computerized machine. the cams are so big, I have to do some clearancing inside the cases so the lobes will go 'round and 'round without hitting other stufffffffs
Gonna be fun

I will move on to the mikuni one of these days. I'm going to get as much as i can out of my stock carb first.

Today actually marks the day that i bought my bike two years ago. So, good bye warranty :(

I can actually start making mods that i have been holding off on because i didn't want to void the warranty. Sweet!

You got a tach on that thing? How come you never really see tachs on harleys? Just curious what the redline is on a stock sportster, and what you think it would be after all your mods. :dontknow:

Mine is a 1200R it came with a tach, the "customs" do not.
the red line on the stock 1200 is at 6k with the new heads, springs etc etc I should be able to spin to 7.2k without really tasking the valve keepers or engine bottom end.
I already have the programmable digital ignition that has capability to have adjustable rev limit, as well as launch rev limiter, and also nx window trigger.
thunderheart ignition was a pain, but pretty decent once its mapped out correctly.
