What would you do?

I got a new tire put on my rear wheel, and somehow when they put it on they scratched the out of it. They already told me they would fix it. What I'm wondering is should I try to get a whole new rim out of it, let them try to match the red with new powdercoating, or do the lip black to try to make it look a little different.

I'm not going to say where I took it because they are making good on there mistake so I don't want to bad mouth them.

I know happens, i'm not happy about it but they didn't try to hide it. They put some touch up paint on it for now and it for now and it looks ok till they fix it.

If I just had black rims I would just touch it up, but I chose the color based on these rims.

You aint gonna get a whole new rim but a couple quotes from powdercoaters will make it easy for the shop to make it right.

Silver? Really, I think it might look a little odd. I guess I could always get the lip polished.

I wouldn't try to be an and get a whole new wheel... but I do think you need to make sure YOU get to pick the shop where it's repaired. You don't want them sending to some hack to save them money. Don't let them have a hack job done to it.

The moer I think about it the angrier I get plus I noticed some scratches on the swingarm, probably from the airhose for an impact wrench.

Having it powdercoated won't work. They can't get that exact color. You'd have to pick a close color & then have both wheels done so that it would match.
