Exclamation GSS SURVEY!!!!! Look Here To Downlaod

OK, I have uploaded the survey. I uploaded an autocadd drawing for those of you with CADD, and a .pdf for those without. Download the file, make your design, then upload back to the site.

Rules of design:

Keep in mind, we want to be able to run in both directions. We want to limit the amount of dirt brought back onto the asphalt, so deign accordingly.

Also, we have to stay away from the swale ditches in the infield, so your design must not cross them. Yes, we could build a headwall and lay a section of pipe in order to do so, but we would like to avoid that if at all possible.

Remember, less is sometimes more, and we want to make the build process as uncomplicated as possible.

Once all of the designs are submitted, we will compile all of the ideas, and create the final drawing, then post it up for approval. Once that is complete, we will submit it to David @ GSS for his blessing, then have our ground breaking party

Shoot me a PM and I will send you the info needed to download the files. The sooner we complete design, the sooner we can go to construction.

it's a large .pdf Tell me a different way and I will. It's hosted on a website right now, I just don't want to make the site info public.

Where's the actual mapping data or even just a 3d version. I could have some fun with this.

UPDATE!!!!

Well, Wes and I met with David today regarding the track design. David, in agreement with us, would like us to focus on 2 areas. The 1st, would be the area circled in red. We would like to have an entrance by both turns 9 and 11, and the side of the infield between turns 3 and 8. We would like to construct the area in the Kart loop 1st, then begin on teh second area after that one is completed.

David showed us where the spoil piles are for the dirt, so we need a count of our heavy equipment. We will also need at least 1 dump truck. If any one has access to one, please let myself or Wes know.

Please have your designs submitted by next weekend, so we can start on teh final design.

turn #s would help if your going to reference them

starting there imho isnt the best place because we still have the front and back straights which i think 1 should be eliminated

We discussed this and most likely we will make a shicane in the straights by using cones and hay bails. The is more than enough room to build a awsome dirt section in the area Dave wants first. It is flat and dont have to worry about drainage. So submit your ideas for that section. Remeber we have to have it flow both ways. So the intrance and exits would have to be between the two corners of that smal straight on the cart area... Hey we are moving forward..
