Wow Josh, you had a strong one....

Mine with the stock motor, with a yosh pipe, yosh box tuning, big box mod/stacks and gearing/shifter went 9.50-9.60s@144-145. I was around 160lbs suited back then. The bike dynoed 159hp with those mods. Low 1.60 60's. Then I switched to an HMF pipe, Yosh cams and PCII custom mapped, it made 175hp and the bike went 9.30s-9.40s@149-150. 50 shot dry got it high 9.teens, best ever was 9.12@158.56 with a 1.62 60'. All of this was stock wheelbase.

Now I am racing my stock motor 01 1000, stock wheelbase and I am going 10.0s@141-142mph but I am now 195lbs suited and only going high 1.70 60's, also this is in the peak of the summer. I figure in the winter it will go 143-144mph or so... This would have been 146-147mph at my old race weight....stock motor, 11k miles. Just having fun for now. The busa will hit the strip in the winter.

My 03 always ran good on the street but I could never get her to 60' or 330' though (not knowing about the bent clutch basket until later). I didn't think it was anything special based on the dyno. I pulled 158rwhp stock and with all the bolt-on's only made 164 but the MPH was always pretty good...

To much work and no play has really slowed things down for me...

New baby on the way means no Texas Mile in October either so I'm missing the action...

If we can get another meet-n-greet by Lake Conroe (on a Sat), I may be able to sneak out for a few...

See that's what it's all about, different strokes for different folks. Personally I couldn't do bracket racing. If you are spotting or getting spotted on a dial in, that's not a race to me. But hey, as long as you are having fun....that's all that matters...

1.62 short times on a stock wheelbase? Thats all the proof I need that swingarm extensions are completely worthless.

OR that kinda like the road racers or track junkies on this site trying to beat Spies in a road race . just ain't gonna happen ..

or since your an LSR racer ..why you don't have the fastest busa on the planet .. why you settled for 200mph ..
Did I hurt your feelings or something....? Whatever makes you happy dude. Totally different bikes and not worth the time or effort IMO but keep chasing that coyote if you want...

Where did I say I wanted the fastest BUSA on the planet...? I'm just having a good time in my spare time, I'm not going to spend every dime I make building the fastest bike.

i'll bet you be wanting bike lenghts and the move with the hit which in turn thats nothing but bracket racing if your spotting
I'll race you for fun, I don't give a . I don't have anything to prove, it's something I do for FUN only. If your turbo bike can't beat my stock wheelbase, stock motor BUSA then you are freaking pathetic. But hey if it makes you feel better to beat stock motor bikes on your fully built bike go for it.....

I don't do spotting or lengths, that is gay.

Actually, I used to average 1.58s, often ran 1.55-1.56s and my best ever was a 1.54. This was on a 58.5" stock wheelbase busa. So far on my 55.7" stock wheelbase 1000, I have only ran a 1.76, I know I can get in the 1.6s with it though as its not even wheelying....Still working on it.

Extended arms/extensions have their place for sure, but most people you see on the street with em are posing.

GPS has 187 recorded highest speed.
i know the speedo healer that i put on my bike has a top speed recall button, does your's not have it? then you could see what your speedo said when your GPS said 187
