FML - todays just not my day...

well i go to the bus stop to ride out to dinner/asi/pp1... i pull up and when i go to put my leg down my pant leg gets caught on the peg and i drop my bike. no real damage, just broken front turn single but i have flush mounts on order that should already be delivered to my parents house... thanks cindy and couple others for picking up my bike and thanks for the guy with the knife so i could cut the zip tie off the connector clip...

i say oh well and put my helmet on my mirror and walk over to talk to some ppl... 2 mins later i hear a crash sound and somehow my helmet fell off the mirror and the clips for the visor broke. helmet is like 2-3 months old. anyone know if i can replace the clips on a scorpion exo 700?

after that i decided ill just ride back home and not do any riding tonight... thanks nick for letting me borrow the sunglasses (it actually did help alot and kept bugs and out of my eyes)...

You can just have Cycle Gear order the parts for you as well and probably any other shop if they can.

Wise decision to just head on back home. Sometimes when little things like this happen, it is better to just park the bike. Bad mojo or something!

HAHAHA, I wish my luck was only that bad! Have you been following my threads, lol? I haven't been able to ride in about 4 months almost because new issues keep popping up. When I finally think my bike is done...battery dies and I have to push it back home (luckily only 2 blocks). Then I get home to find out that they still haven't replaced the carpet yet after 2 weeks of flooding and the 4th time they said for sure they were fixing. All of which was actually on the same day that my girlfriend was leaving on a short vacation that I was supposed to join her for, but couldn't because of work, but the client told us that they weren't ready for us yet.

Lol, so I had a bit of a fml day yesterday. It'll all be good bro!

^^^ man, mines nothing compared to you....

i read your thread about the bike, didnt know about the carpet and other stuff... have your own little vacation at home ...

i think i fixed one side of the clip but the other side i cant fix without the springs... im just gonna wait till dbuck PMs me and probably take him up on his offer

edit: ok its half-assed fixed now to the point i could use it if i really needed to, but the visor will come off if the clips move after i open the visor...

Yep, that's me.

I would give customer service a call. Magical things happen and parts seem to appear when you exclaim how disappointed you are in the lid...

Mudbug- No excuse, my dad works for Anheuser-Busch, I ALWAYS have reserves. Let me know when you have a beer emergency....
