Usually the track day guys don't allow them. Just wondering if you had some kind of special permission for a fancy video.

Good question. After seeing them in that lame movie torque, I can see that they would be very distracting to anyone behind the sparking rider. Why not use leather sliders? Probably better tarmac surface feel anyways.

you wont be able to drag knee in alot of places at MSR houston. i just did once or twice in the chicanes. the track was too new for me to try fast laps.

are you taking the gxsr600 or R1?

Different strokes for different folks. I personally like a fat plastic slider.

I had some sparkies...they spark up pretty good...almost caused a van to crash cause they were watching the sparks at night on Beltway and the Hwy 3 Exit. I also had a guy on racer road nearly crash cause he was right behind me and thought that I was going down due to taking the turn too fast. He thought hard parts were grinding and he started standing his bike up.

yeah, once the asphalt wears thru the plastic it will hit the titanium in turn creating sparks. i have a pair that i used all last year without the titanium, even doing TMGP racing and they will last alot longer, they are really thick for long lasts.. the best $25.00 i have spent. plus i got the sparking sliders for only $12.99 a pair. maybe someone (chris) will get some pics of them throwing sparks on monday. If i can manage to get a knee down.

ATTENTION LMS STAFF...... be on the look out for an "attorney" with sparking knee sliders. We really don't care for them, but you are welcome to wear them. Main thing is the distraction for those behind you, and I have seen a guy go down trying to watch his own sparkies........ (one of those self critiquing errors)
